-
AI, Data and Robotics for Life Extension
Robotic and AI solutions that extend the operational lifetime of products through inspection, diagnostics, and repair.
-
AI, Data and Robotics for Value Retention
Flexible robotic systems and AI tools that enable refurbishing, remanufacturing, or repurposing of used products at industrial scale.
-
AI, Data and Robotics for Parts Harvesting
AI-enabled robotic solutions for selective dismantling and recovery of high-value components from complex products.
-
AI, Data and Robotics for Decommissioning and Recycling
Robotic and AI technologies that support safe decommissioning and high-quality material recovery, prioritizing reuse and recycling over disposal.

Consortium & Eligibility
Yes, a Large Company is fully eligible to participate as an Industrial End-user. However, the Lead Partner (Pilot Leader) must be an SME or a Startup.
The consortium is limited to a maximum of three partners. A common structure consists of a Tech Provider (SME Lead) and an Industrial End-user (SME or Large Company). A third partner can be added for contributing to project activities. Adding a fourth partner, regardless its role (e.g., like business development, communication, RnD), is not permitted and will lead to ineligibility.
Yes, provided they are distinct legal entities with separate VAT numbers. Following EU SME definitions, entities are considered autonomous if ownership/voting rights are below 25%.
Yes. As long as all participants are based in eligible countries and meet the mandatory roles, there is no requirement for cross-border cooperation.
Technical Requirements
The ROB4GREEN platform is currently based on ROS 2 Jazzy.
No. The DPP tool is designed as a flexible component that exposes HTTP-based APIs and is not strictly tied to the FIWARE Orion Context Broker.
Each proposal must use at least one ROB4GREEN technology module, and can include up to two.
No. ROB4GREEN is focused on AI-enhanced robotic solutions. While AI and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) are vital, the implementation must involve a robotic cell or autonomous system (e.g., automated sorting, pick-and-place, or dismantling).
Yes. Evaluators must understand exactly where and how the solution will be validated with the end-user. While technical refinements happen during the project, the industrial scenario must be concrete at the time of submission.
Budget & Financials
There is no predefined ratio. A 50-50 split is acceptable as long as the budget reflects the actual work each partner is performing and is well-justified.
No. This is a lump-sum, performance-based funding scheme. You are not required to submit individual timesheets or invoices. Payments are linked to the successful delivery of technical results, milestones, and KPIs.
No. Only the depreciation value associated with the equipment/software during the project's timeframe is eligible. Subcontracting is not permitted.
You do not need invoice-level detail, but a high-level label is insufficient. Each cost must be clearly described, linked to project tasks, and justified so evaluators can assess its realism.
Submission & Documentation
To be eligible, you must upload the following four documents to the F6S platform:
- Annex 3: Proposal Template
- Annex 4: Honor Declaration
- Annex 5: Consortium Declaration
- Annex 6: SME Declaration (Required for the Lead SME only).
The deadline is April 8, 2026, at 17:00 CET. We strongly advise submitting earlier to avoid technical traffic and ensure all mandatory annexes are correctly uploaded.
