ROB4GREEN is seeking high-level external experts to join our evaluation pool for Open Call 1. Help us select the most innovative SME-led projects that will leverage AI, Data, and Robotics to accelerate Europe’s transition to a circular economy.

ROB4GREEN is awarding €4,000,000 in funding to support green robotic solutions. We are looking for independent experts to evaluate External Pilots addressing challenges in dismantling, remanufacturing, and recycling (Re-X).

What is expected from Evaluators?
Evaluators will work remotely and will be expected to:
- Evaluate 8–16 proposals per call to ensure a broad quality overview
- Provide Individual Evaluation Reports
- Participate in consensus and interview meetings
- Sign a Non-Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality declaration
Profile of Experts
We are seeking experts with a BSc, MSc, or PhD and at least 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

Industrial robotics & mechatronics
Expertise in cable robots, collaborative manipulators (cobots), and end-effector design.

Artificial intelligence & data
Knowledge of Deep Learning (YOLO, RCNN), Large Language Models (LLMs) for HRI, and Digital Twins.

Remanufacturing and recycling, circular economy & sustainability
Technical understanding of composite material recycling (wind blades), tyre retreading, or electronics remanufacturing (PCBs)

Innovation & business management
Experience in assessing the market potential, scalability, and "go-to-market" strategies for tech startups/SMEs

Important notice: Submission of an expression of interest does not guarantee selection and does not constitute any commitment by the ROB4GREEN project. Evaluators will be selected at a later stage based on the project’s needs, the relevance of their expertise and the balance between varius criteria. Selected experts will be required to comply with confidentiality and conflict of interest requirements. Uploading proposals to AI tools is strictly prohibited.
